Why Chiropractic

Why Chiropractic? | Spinal Dysfunction | Movement is Life | Is Chiropractic Safe? | So Why Chiropractic?

spineChiropractic is for anyone who has a spine. There will come a day when as many people get their spine checked as routinely go to the dentist.

The spinal column is an amazing structure which acts as an encasement for your spinal cord, an attachment for 5 layers of back muscles and an anchor for your rib cage which protects your major organs.

The average person has 24 individual vertebrae which are built for strength and flexibility. The natural curves of the spine serve as the body's natural shock absorber. When the curves deviate from normal, not only do you lose optimum shock absorption, there is undue pressure on your spinal cord. Cervical, thoracic and lumbar vertebrae are all designed for specialized function, but what they all have in common is that the spinal cord runs through the middle and the spinal nerves which innervate every part of the body, run out their side. Let me say this again. Every nerve that goes to every muscle and organ in your body comes though your spinal column. It is the cable through which your body and your brain communicate.
